The Design Process
It’s as easy as 1 – 2 – 3…
1. First Things First
Our initial meeting typically takes place in home or at the project site. We can discuss the scope of work, take measurements and photographs of the space and collect your wants and needs list.
If applicable, we may have you fill out our Design Menu to capture the individual details of your project and how we can cater our services to meet your specific needs.
2. Overview and Initiation
After reviewing your project needs and Design Menu, a job-based retainer is presented to engage our Design services. Typically 5-20 hours is retained at our hourly rate or Project Cap Price to begin the creative process which allows us to best assist you.
3. Ready, Set, Go
We provide look-books, presentation boards, and share our vision with you to gain feedback, make adjustments and provide general cost allocations.
If we’re assisting on a remodel, drafted floorplans and material ideas such as tile, flooring, cabinets, plumbing etc., are typically shared at this meeting. If this is a staging project, the agreement documents are signed, deposits are made, and scheduling is decided.
4. Approval and Action
If you like the scheme we’ve developed for you, the next priority is sourcing our best vendors. We hand select products and furnishings, create a timeline, and pull all the pieces together. If our known vendors, contractors , artisans or retailers are involved with your project, we’ll all get introduced to keep things moving with clarity and professional guidance.
For stage jobs, we work with you to ensure your home is showcased at its best potential. We’ll develop and install an inventory of furnishing that best market the style of your home and captures your target audience.
5. Rewards and Wrap-Up
We’ve orchestrated all the final details to the big reveal of a job well executed.
We’ve communicated along the way, met deadlines, and budgets, made proper adjustments, and dealt with any unforeseen issues. With pride we can all revel in the impressive results.
We are confident you’ll enjoy sharing your unique, welcoming space with friends and family.
